There is something electric about New York City. Art Expo this year was filled with so many talented artists and I was so happy to be a part of it. The opportunity to show in one of my favorite cities with artists I adore was an absolute dream come true. The booth that MJ Laberge put together was literally pulling people in. I loved watching them get lost in the works. I did a quick video of the show with links for the artists who participated below. Artists included Kelly Rossetti - www.kellyrossetti.com {@kellylrossetti} Sophie Pardo - www.sophie-pardo.com {@sophiepardo92} Viviane Bergevin - www.artist-viva-b.com {@viva_bergevin.art} Erika Lyn Horowitz - www.erikalynhorwitz.com {@aricaarts} Isabelle Parent - www.zabel.ca {@zabel_international_artist} Margaret Lipsey - www.pistacheandrose.weebly.com {@pistache_and_rose} Tara Blackwell - www.bwellstudios.com {@taramariebwell} Sima Schloss - artist.simaschloss.com {@simzee} Amanda Hurn - miishab.squarespace.com {@miishab} Patricia Doucet - www.artbangbang.com/PatriciaDoucet {@patdou} Josee Guitard - www.guitardartiste.com {@guitard_artistepeintre_artist} Nancy Gaussiran - nancygaussiran.wixsite.com {@nancygaussiranart } Caaroline Bergeron - www.aroartiste.com {@aroartiste} Annlo - www.boutique.annlocreations.com {@annlocreations} Vanessa Sylvain - vanessasylvain.ca {@vanessa_sylvain} Nancy Vincent - www.nancyvincent.com Veronique Doucet - {@verodouo7_artiste} Rita Berger - {@ritaberger1} Jocelyne Dumont - {@artist_dumont } Maria M - {@mahanarts1} Rose - {@rose.artwork } The booth is being organized and hung today. VIP and preview of the show is tomorrow afternoon. Then Friday morning it is open to the public. The funny thing about shows like these is that there is so much time leading up to them, preparing, getting excited, promoting, and overly obsessing, that when the day finally comes there is a quiet sort of relief. The wonderful thing about a show this size is that there are so many other booths filled with artists from around the world. Being immersed in that space is such an inspiration. You can feel the passion of the hours of work, years of growth, and vulnerability of exhibiting. There is no comparison between the artists, each is at this point in their process, each has faced rejection and adoration. We are all in it together.
